Company History
20 years ago, owner Erich Kisvarday started his company as a one truck carpet cleaning service. He began receiving calls to respond to water damage losses that required water extraction and drying equipment. It also necessitated interaction with insurance company representatives.
He realized that the assistance he could offer to customers experiencing water damage would build his company in two directions, water damage restoration and carpet cleaning.
He invested in top of the line equipment to handle both needs. He screened and qualified technicians to meet the needs of customers. He trained technicians personally, and through the IICRC, secured certification for those technicians.
He secured the best service vehicles on the market, and equipped the vehicles with the most efficient truck mounted pumps and extractors. Moisture detection meters, turbo air movers, dehumidifiers and negative air scrubbers were required and where obtained in large numbers in order to service all of his customers.
Today A#1 Emergency Service and A#1 Steaming service the greater southern California area with a fleet of service vehicles, quality equipment and certified technicians.
A#1 Emergency Service’s office staff has grown considerably in the last decade adding a division of the company who deals exclusively with insurance companies in the handling of your claim. If you choose to submit your water damage loss to your insurance carrier, we will monitor and assist you with your claim.
Our staff has over 30 years of insurance submission experience and our billing to the insurance company is formatted in Xactimate software, which is honored and accepted by all major insurance companies.
